The American Graphics Collection

The American Graphics Collection currently offers a selection of American Flags, Mourning Ribbons and animated flag graphics. This collection is part of the byCarel.com site which has been serving free graphics for almost 15 years.

The site just received a new design and will soon have new graphics and a new optional web application interface. This collection will always be offered as a stand-alone collection of American patriotic graphics, but many of the graphics in this collection will also be available in the new byCarel.com web application.

For more information about the web design, tutorial, and social networking features of the new application, see the byCarel.com home page.

History

The American Graphics Collection was posted on September 13, 2001 in reaction to the acts of terrorism commited on September 11, 2001. It is intended to provide people with the graphics necessary to display their patriotism.

The initial posting of the site was accompanied by the following quote:
"Words cannot express my feelings in the wake of the devastating acts of terrorism commited on September 11, 2001. My thoughts are with those who have perished, those who have survived and struggle to survive, those who are involved in the rescue and recovery efforts, and those who have lost their loved ones." - Carel (09/13/2001)
